Public Proclamations:

Come help seniors Ellen Montgomery and Nikki Hensley package over 10,000 meals in the final event of their Capstone project on Thursday, March 6th!
Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging events are a fun, hands-on way to make a difference and impact the lives of those suffering from hunger. All students involved will receive 2 community service hours. Thanks!


Every day next week during lunch House Animus will be selling March Madness brackets outside of Foundation Hall for the bracket tournament. Brackets cost $2 for the first one and $1 for each one after that. The winners advisory gets chicken minis and a dress down day, so get your whole advisory involved! The proceeds will benefit the Ada Jenkin’s Center Boys and Girls Club.

Juniors should report to the college counseling room (Rm. 616) Wednesday during their science drop. Wednesday’s session will focus on creating your activities resume. Students should bring their laptop computer, as well as a saved copy of their resume to begin the editing or continue the editing process.

Student Council is happy to announce the new Public Relations position added for next year. The position will enable the officer to be responsible for getting information into the blog, heading the fund raising campaigns and writing articles for the school.   Please see Ms. Harley or Mrs. Ramsey  for a full description of the position or if you have any questions.

Course Selection forms, including any Recommendation or AP Override forms are due to their Advisor by this Thursday, March 6th.

Student Council Speeches are on March 10th, the deadline to run for office is March 5th with a speech submitted to Dean Ramsey by 9am on March 6th. 

Honor Council Speeches will be on March 24th (the day we return from Spring Break) with a speech submitted to Dean Booker by 9am on March 13th.

Houses will begin to look for Head Boys and Girls on March 25th.   Student interested in helping their Houses should get in touch with the current Head Boy or Girl of their House and be prepared to present a resume and  interview for positions within the House structure

Class Representatives April 8th speeches (these elections will be by grade-level.)  Please submit speeches to Dean

Ramsey by April 2nd to be eligible.  If you are interested in running for an office, or you have any questions about the above roles, please seek the advice of one of the following:
